I forgot that my name is Niki

How many times have you forgotten what your real name is?
Yesterday, I received a call on my cellphone. Seeing an unknown local number I am putting on my AIESEC voice, "Hello, Nikita speaking." The receiver then went, "Oh, this isn't Niki's phone, is it?" which I replied to with, "Oh no, I think you got the wrong number."
Then I hung up.
A while later I came to my senses. What if that call was from the place that I just started working for. As in an on-call position, they might want to inform me with the next week's roster.
Oh, bugger!
I don't know what people called me, although I am officially a "Niki" but I'm a "Nikita" at heart. I am blaming on the typo on my birth certificate. Stupid registry people!
