Would you like Snow with your Spring?
Monday, September 19, 2005Yes, please! Today I woke up with this lazy feeling. It was 8.30 AM when I sat up on my bed collecting every will to get up so I can make it to my 9 AM group meeting. That was when my cousin came and said, "Hey, it's snowing outside." Well.. it is too! Maybe that factor in to my laziness today hehehe...
Went to Cafe 101 this morning to get my caffeinne fix before my study group, looking outside the window it's all white. The cafe also played this Christmas song, so it feels like a White Christmas. Snow covers everything - the pavement, the rooftop, the trees, the cars. It was beautiful and all but wait until you get outside and walk. It's all muddy and cold. My feet are cold , my shoes and socks are wet.

However, the brightside is... SCHOOL'S OUT! My friend and I were like a couple of high school students when the security guy came to our working room up in the library to tell us that the library is closed. Yes, after this post I'm going to go home, curled up in my aunty's lounge with a glass of hot drink and enjoy the rest of the day.
A couple of people I know were sort of complaining why is the University closed Hey, to be honest, I don't really mind. Why do people has to be so anal about this? It won't hurt to close down uni for half a day. Try to be considerate, people! Think about other people who lives in the suburbs and doesn't have cars and has to walk to uni .. or catch a bus. They can't catch a bus either because the services has been cancelled for the rest of the day due to safety reason. And still, some people think it's stupid to close down the university and to cancel the bus services.
Anyhow, I'm off home now, have a good day for all of you. And drive safely for you in New Zealand. I will post about India very shortly (now that I have more free time!)

aaah, it snowed in 2003 in CCH as well, but that was in JUNE....oh man I cant believe it is still that cold in NZ...it's 33 degress here
