Efficiency and effectiveness bring good fortunes

The past week has been hectic. It was filled with fun and hard-work.
1. Singstar Pop
My second attempt on this version of Singstar! had been practicing in the MC flat, it paid off and took me to a different level on "The Reason". Oh yeah,.. bring it on! Mwahahahaha.....
However, Wednesday was an exceptionally good day. Although busy with tute/lecture/group meeting/LC Meeting, several good things happened that day. =)
2. SGM - the dreaded financial statement.
This makes me wonder why I ran for XCD in the first place, I didn't even have any background on accounting. I will propose a change in AIESEC Canterbury constitution that all FD or finance responsible has to have a minimun of 1 year Accounting study! Thank goodness for Wayne. The poor guy spent 16 hours fixing the statement up all by himself, and still stressing about the $3 missing.
3. Missed lab - for network and security course.
My weakest subject, I missed the tute last week because I couldn't find the room and it was cold and raining so I couldn't be bothered. Lagging one week behind apparently this lab requires you to have a partner. Partnered up with this chick who has a pretty knowledgable friend sitting next to her. So everything was a breeze. I told her that we only have 2 weeks to finish off the lab for the term (since I'm going to IC) and she's fine with it. YAY!
4. A Family Get-together
Yes, it has been quite a while since me and my cousin sitting down together in the living room and watching movie together. We watched "Bride and Prejudice". I refuse at first since I heard other people's comment after watching the movie and how crap the movie is. I was expecting more like "Bend It Like Beckham" but apparently this number is more like Indian movie I should say. A lot of mass-dancing and singing and people popping out of nowhere and joining the ritual. We ended up making comments about how hot Martin Henderson is (oh well for him, how hot the Indian chick is).
The rest of the week was pretty bright, too.
5. Finally getting the contingency budget done. The very good deal with one of the potential venues tastes like a drop of rain in the Sahara. He's our light in the darkness, a glimpse of hope in our despair! Not only him but other people in Methven aswell makes me think that maybe Methven is where all the good people go?
I work much more efficiently when I'm busy, so.. keep me busy.
