Random Act of Kindness

I had a really really weird dream last night. The dream goes like this:

I was driving my little red car along the University Drive when I suddenly remembered that I supposed to meet up with Wayne before going to this ICX meeting. Running late, I went out of the car and just ran to the AIESEC office with the engine of my car still running and the car was actually still rolling slowly.

The next scene; I was sitting in a bus, with Wayne, going to Lincoln for our ICX Meeting. But then I realised that I have left my car in the middle of the road. I stopped the bus, told Wayne to ring the person we're meeting with to postpone the meeting for an hour and ran down to the other end of the University Drive to find my car. If you have been to UoC, you know there's a creek and there are grassy bit with trees along the banks of the creek. In my dream, the creek was flooding, it almost like a river! There were a lot of cars crashed into the trees and some of them even drowned in the flooding creek.

Yes I found my car. Drowned. I was so gutted and then came my cousins from the middle of nowhere, blaming me for my stupidity. But what I was worrying about was not so much about the car but about the meeting that I missed!!

That was the weird dream I had, it doesn't really make any sense now, does it? This is what I did when I was procrastinating in the office. I checked out the online dream interpretation website to see what my dream is telling me. This is what I found:

The relationships you have with those around you are important in learning about yourself. Additionally, this symbol foretells of happy tidings from them and the arrival of good news.

To see your cousin in your dream, represents something or some aspect of your character that is somewhat familiar. Perhaps you need to spend more time in cultivating and developing some emerging ability or character.

Then to what degree does the interpretation of my dream is true? Let's find out!

The lacking originality bit - somewhat true. I have been planning my life around what other people told me what I should do. And yes, I don't know what I'm going to do this time next year, there has been quite a few discussion about this with several people in the last couple of weeks.

The involvement in something that is beyond my control/ sense of loss in own identity bit - I am currently involved in something beyond my control but I don't think I have lost my own identity.

The anxiety bit - this is soooo true! Spot on!

The personality/ learning about yourself bit - Hmm, maybe somewhat related to the previous post? Uh, spooky!

The developing character bit - This is true, I have been thinking about this quite a bit lately.

It was fun, but also freaky at the same time to see how the dream does relate to what is happening in your waking life! I guess I just have too much time on my hand with little to do. No no, this is not a hint for you guys to give me work or things to think about! ;)

Next time you have a weird dream, It might be pays off to check what it actually means. Hmm.. I'm still thinking about what good news will I get in the near future? ;D
