The last 10 days had been a crazy study-spree. With 2 tests and only 8 days to cram (Yes, I know, bad time-management! Shouldn't have left it til the last minute!) I shut myself from the outside world in that period of time. For the first time ever in my study-life I actually have time to revise the material on the day! For my last test I even had 2 hours spare time which I spent in the office chatting with Adi...and kicking Nick's butt in singing Jesse McCartney's Beautiful Soul. Hahaha!
Anyhow, what's done is done. I don't even want to think about tests anymore. Let other people worry about that now because I'm through with it, .. at least for now. There have been highlights, of course (mostly before and after the study period hehehe...). Studying not all bad, you know! Especially when you have the routine of getting in at 9 am to reserve your best seat in the library (Level 9, overlooking Christchurch city), preparing your own (healthy) lunch because you can't be bothered to go down to the cafe and queue up for food, and have all the time in the world to daydream .. or nap when you're feeling tired.
Some of the highlights in the past 10 days up to date are....
Abhijeet Malik - he came for a couple of nights and took off for his South Island Adventure trip and came back again for another couple of nights. He trully live by the saying, "If not now, when? If not you, then.. who?" When two womble holders (current and past ;) got together you surely must have womble moment (and yes yes we have!). As we walked to Antony's there was a really cool limousine with neon light underneath, driving past. I went, "Oww, limousine!" And Abhi asked, "Nikita do you want a limousine?" To which of course I answered, "Naah, it's too hard to drive." Then Abhi started cracking up laughing while I stood there-confused. What's so funny about that? It would be hard to drive a limo, wouldn't it?. He then said, "Honey, this is why you don't have romantic life. I mean if somebody else rent it out for you!" Ooh, now we're talking! In that case Abhi, of course I want to! ;p Now, let me ask you who's wombler- him or me?
Aditi - CONGRATULATION on getting in to DHL Singapore. It is sooo wicked! Visting Indonesia won't just be a dream anymore. I am soo happy for you. You're going to have heaps of fun for sure.
Ying - Miss LCP elect of AIESEC Auckland. Big congrats to you too and welcome to the very prestigious president club of AIESEC NZ ;p Best of luck for your new EB and looking forward to working with you!
My old mates - If there has ever been a time when three of your old mates (none of them are related) that you haven't spoken to in ages chat with you at the same time, it is today. Is today some kind of "Remembering The Old Mates" day or something? I feel so.... loved. =D
Birthday wish - I never remember my birthday wishes and whether it has came true, because too many wishes has been made in the past and none of them came true. But just the other day, I realised that one wish that a friend of mine made at the beginning of the year, on my birthday dinner, has came true. I always though it will happen *hopefully* but never thought it would be this soon. No no, I'm not telling what the wish was.
Holiday - Being able to do anything, anytime without having to worry about school! Pure bliss!
Now I'm back from hibernation, will have to start working on my to-do list before July Forum. So many things to look forward to for the next couple of months. I can't wait! Can life get any better than this?
